In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Vinemont Eagles softball team scored a tight 4-1 win over the Hanceville Bulldogs.

The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Decatur Heritage Christian Academy nipped Meek (Arley, AL), 9-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Good Hope Raiders (Cullman, AL) in a 4A Area 13 match, on Friday, March 14. Hanceville will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 8-5 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Cordova (Cordova, AL).
