South Carolina High School Softball - Lakewood bounces Richland Northeast

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Lakewood Gators softball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Richland Northeast Cavaliers.
The Gators (2-2) will now prepare for their match against South Florence (Florence, SC). The Bruins come into the AAAA Region 5 bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, South Florence knocked off Darlington (Darlington, SC), 3-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Cavaliers clash with the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Richland Northeast will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 8-1 league win over Dreher (Columbia, SC).
