In Thursday's league battle, the Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) softball team routed the visiting North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC), by a margin of 23-3.
The Vikings now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hobgood Charter for a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. Northwest Halifax will confront a Raiders team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, North Edgecombe moves to 0-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league battle on Friday, March 14. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
