Alabama High School Baseball - Austin sneaks past Jasper

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the host Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL), saw Austin's baseball team get by Jasper by a tally of 4-3.

The Black Bears (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL). The Dolphins come into the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Gulf Shores got by Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL), 11-0, in a non-league contest.

The Vikings now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayden for a non-league contest on Monday, March 16. Jasper will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-1.
