Colorado High School Baseball - Basalt edges Rifle

March 13, 2026: Rifle, CO 81650

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Basalt Longhorns baseball team scored a close 8-5 win over the Rifle Bears.

The Longhorns (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Olathe (Olathe, CO). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Olathe by Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO), 8-7, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bears play the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Loveland, CO) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 16. Rifle will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
