In Friday's non-league bout, the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD), by a tally of 10-0.
The Stags now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Annapolis Area Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 14. DeMatha will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Gilman drops to 3-2 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Saints in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 14. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
