The West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) baseball the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 5-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Triton for a Carolina Pines 6A challenge on Tuesday, March 17. West Johnston will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Lee County drops to 0-7 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Carolina Pines 6A challenge on Tuesday, March 17.
