Texas High School Baseball - MacArthur defeats Nimitz

The MacArthur Cardinals baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Nimitz Vikings to 0 in the Cardinals league win on Friday.

The Cardinals now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Highlands for a 6A Region I District 7 outing on Tuesday, March 17. MacArthur will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-8.

The Vikings (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Corsicana edged Crandall (Crandall, TX), 4-0, in a league outing.
