In Friday's non-league game, the host Valley Rams baseball squad scored a tight 6-3 triumph over the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings.
With the triumph, Valley advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Rams host Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL) to battle the Aggies in a non-league match on Saturday, March 14. The Aggies come into the match with a record of 2-9. Sylacauga lost 9-4 in their recent non-league match against Holtville (Deatsville, AL)
The Vikings now have a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookstone for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 match on Tuesday, March 17. St. Anne-Pacelli will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Heritage (Newnan, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-3.
