The Conway Wampus Cats got by the visiting Valley View Blazers softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Wampus Cats now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fayetteville for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 14. Conway will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Har-Ber (Springdale, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Valley View moves to 2-4 on the season. The Blazers travel to Lonoke (Lonoke, AR) to encounter the Jackrabbits in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 14.
