North Carolina High School Softball - Princeton drops to North Johnston

March 13, 2026: Princeton, NC 27569

North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC), 13-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, North Johnston improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC) to face the Warriors in a Three Rivers 4A game on Tuesday, March 17. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 0-2. Eastern Wayne lost 2-1 in their recent league game against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC)

The Bulldogs now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wallace-Rose Hill for a Swine Valley 2A/3A match on Tuesday, March 17. Princeton will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
