The Taylor County Vikings got by the visiting Manchester Blue Devils baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Monday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lamar County for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 17. Taylor County will face a Trojans team coming off a 13-0 league win over Southwest (Macon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-2.
