The El Capitan Vaqueros volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Monte Vista Monarchs to 0 in the Vaqueros league victory on Monday.
The Vaqueros now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 15. El Capitan will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.
The Monarchs (1-7) will now prepare for their game against West Hills (Santee, CA). The Wolf Pack enter the Grossmont Valley game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, West Hills was dropped by Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
