The Falls Lake Firebirds soccer team (Creedmoor, NC), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC)
With the win, Franklin Academy advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host N.C. School of Science & Math (Durham, NC) to play the Unicorns in a Super Six 1A/2A outing on Monday, March 28. The Unicorns go into the outing with a record of 4-0.
In their next game, the Firebirds play the Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 16. Falls Lake will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC).
