California High School Baseball - Otay Ranch defeats Clairemont

Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), 12-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Otay Ranch upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 16. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 7-1. Patrick Henry won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Montgomery (San Diego, CA)

With the defeat, Clairemont falls to 1-3 on the season. The Chieftains host Olympian (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 16. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-3. Olympian won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Coronado (Coronado, CA)
