Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA), 5-2 in a non-league test.

The Springers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hermitage for a non-league test on Monday, March 21.

In their next game, the Skyhawks face the Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion test, on Wednesday, March 16. L.C. Bird will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
