Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers (Augusta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 17. Midland Valley will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA).

The Eagles now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Aiken for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Monday, March 21.
