The Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) softball routed the visiting Seymour Eagles (Seymour, TN), 15-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Tornadoes (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Midway (Kingston, TN). The Green Wave go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Midway was routed by Harriman (Harriman, TN), 7-0, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Cosby for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 17. Seymour will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over West (Knoxville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
