The Yellowjackets now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Geneva for a 4A Area 2 challenge on Thursday, March 17. Ashford will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Kinston (Kinston, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Providence Christian falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Daleville (Daleville, AL) to battle the Warhawks in a 3A Area 3 challenge on Thursday, March 17. The Warhawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Daleville lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Houston Academy (Dothan, AL)
