Geneva County Bulldogs (Hartford, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL), 12-11 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goshen for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Geneva County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Luverne (Luverne, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Carroll falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Goshen (Goshen, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
