The Diboll Lumberjacks softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Hudson Hornets to 0 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Diboll moves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Lumberjacks travel to Pollok Central (Pollok, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 21 game on Thursday, March 17. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 5-3.

In their next game, the Hornets play the Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 game, on Tuesday, March 22. Hudson will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX).
