Fairview Aggies (Cullman, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Aggies now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Guntersville for a 5A Area 14 challenge on Thursday, March 17.

With the loss, Southeastern falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cleveland (Cleveland, AL) to battle the Panthers in a 2A Area 11 challenge on Thursday, March 17. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Cleveland won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL)
