The Northwest Texans softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Grapevine Mustangs to 0 in the Texans league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Northwest improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Texans travel to Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a 5A Region I District 6 game on Tuesday, March 22. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 7-4. Lake Dallas lost 10-4 in their recent league game against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Ryan Raiders (Denton, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 game, on Friday, April 1. Grapevine will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Memorial (Frisco, TX).
