The Hatton Hornets softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Lawrence County Red Devils to 3 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Hatton improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Hornets host Falkville (Falkville, AL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a 2A Area 13 game on Tuesday, March 15. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 3-0. Falkville won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL)

In their next game, the Red Devils clash with the West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) in a 5A Area 15 game, on Thursday, March 17. Lawrence County will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 6-5 league win over Lawrence County (Moulton, AL).
