Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders (Blackville, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Patrick Henry Academy Patriots (Estill, SC), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andrew Jackson Academy for a challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Jefferson Davis Academy will face a Warriors squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Patrick Henry Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to St. John's Christian Academy (Moncks Corner, SC) to face the Cavaliers in a SCISA A Region I challenge on Friday, March 18. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. St. John's Christian Academy lost 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC)
