The Cave Spring Knights crushed the host Northside Vikings baseball team by a count of 11-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host William Byrd for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 16. Cave Spring will face a Terriers team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Vikings face the Hidden Valley Titans (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 16. Northside will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Titans enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA).
