With the win, East Gaston upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 15. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-2. South Point won 11-3 in their recent league test against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)

With the defeat, Thomas Jefferson falls to 2-3 on the season. The Gryphons host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to battle the Ironmen in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 21. The Ironmen come into the test with a record of 5-2. Cherryville won 7-2 in their recent league test against Shelby (Shelby, NC)
