Georgia High School Baseball - Mitchell County loses to Monroe

The Monroe Golden Tornadoes crushed the host Mitchell County Eagles baseball team by a count of 23-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Golden Tornadoes now possess a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Westover for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 15. Monroe will face a Patriots team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-7.

Next, the Eagles face the Baker County Bears (Newton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 16. Mitchell County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Westwood (Camilla, GA).
