The Sulphur Golden Tors crushed the host New Iberia Yellowjackets baseball team by a tally of 15-3 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Golden Tors now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette for a 5A District 3 bout on Thursday, March 16. Sulphur will face a Lions team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.
Next, the Yellowjackets face the Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 16. New Iberia will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 3-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA).
