In Tuesday's league challenge, the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) baseball squad nipped the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), by a margin of 6-5.

With the win, Pine Forest betters its record to 4-2 on the season. The Trojans host Westover (Fayetteville, NC) to encounter the Wolverines in a All American 3A/4A challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Westover lost 32-1 in their recent league challenge against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)

With the defeat, Western Harnett falls to 1-6 on the season. The Eagles host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Union Pines won 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)
