Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, Welsh upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Greyhounds host DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA) to battle the Tigers in a 2A District 6 test on Tuesday, March 21. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-3. DeQuincy won 13-3 in their recent league test against Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA)

With the defeat, Vinton falls to 4-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA) to battle the Hornets in a 2A District 6 test on Thursday, March 16. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-2. Grand Lake won 11-0 in their recent league test against Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA)
