North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Independence drops to Porter Ridge

Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 15-3 in a non-league battle.

The Pirates now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Weddington for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River battle on Thursday, March 16. Porter Ridge will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern/So Meck battle, on Thursday, March 16. Independence will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 13-12 non-league win over Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC).
