Georgia High School Soccer - Screven County knocks off Woodville-Tompkins

Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA), 6-0 in a league challenge.
The Gamecocks now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Claxton for a 1A D-I Region 3 test on Friday, March 17. Screven County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Woodville-Tompkins drops to 2-6 on the season. The Wolverines host Metter (Metter, GA) to encounter the Tigers in a 1A D-I Region 3 test on Thursday, March 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-6. Metter 1-1 in their recent league test against Screven County (Sylvania, GA)
