In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Langley Saxons lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Oakton Cougars.
The Saxons now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Westfield for a non-league test on Friday, March 17. Langley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 24. Oakton will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 10-9 league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
