The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) and the visiting Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), saw Lanier's soccer squad triumph over Apalachee by a margin of 8-2.
The Longhorns now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Habersham Central for a 6A Area 8 test on Friday, March 17. Lanier will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Apalachee drops to 6-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Morgan County (Madison, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 16. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-2. Morgan County won 6-3 in their recent league test against Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA)
