The Lafayette Lions softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Carencro Bears to 1 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lafayette moves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Lions host New Iberia (New Iberia, LA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 5A District 3 game on Thursday, March 16. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 7-5.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 21. Carencro will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
