The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) and the host China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX), saw Mildred's softball squad achieve victory over China Spring by a count of 9-0.

The Eagles now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Eustace for a 3A Region III District 18 match on Tuesday, March 21.

With the loss, China Spring falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Connally (Waco, TX) to face the Cadets in a 4A Region III District 23 match on Friday, March 17. The Cadets enter the match with a record of 7-10. Connally won 15-0 in their recent non-league match against Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX)
