Tennessee High School Softball - McMinn Central falls to Copper Basin

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Copper Basin Cougars softball team scored a nice 19-8 win over the McMinn Central Chargers.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 16. Copper Basin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 2-1 record after their 5-1 league win over Swain County (Bryson City, NC).

The Chargers (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Polk County was routed by Greenback (Greenback, TN), 7-5, in a non-league outing.
