The Orange County Fighting Hornets softball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Culpeper County Blue Devils to 1 in the Fighting Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Orange County improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Fighting Hornets travel to Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to clash with the Lions in a Jefferson game on Wednesday, March 15. The Lions come into the game with a record of 1-1.
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 16. Culpeper County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
