North Carolina High School Softball - South Granville bounces Falls Lake

March 14, 2023: Creedmoor, NC 27522

South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. South Granville will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Falls Lake falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Vance County (Henderson, NC) to battle the Vipers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The Vipers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Vance County won 30-0 in their recent league challenge against Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC)
