In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Gilbert Indians softball team scored a nice 20-0 win over the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets.
Coming up next, the Indians battle the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 15. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Rebels enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to White Knoll (Lexington, SC).
The Diamond Hornets (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians enter the AAA Region 5 outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Gilbert was routed by Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
