North Carolina High School Softball - North Duplin bounces Jones

March 14, 2023: Trenton, NC 28585

The North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) softball routed the host Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), 18-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Devil Pups go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Lejeune was routed by Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC), 10-2, in a non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Pamlico County for a Coastal Plains 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, March 21. Jones will confront a Hurricanes squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-1.
