North Carolina High School Softball - Lumberton South View

The South View Tigers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Lumberton Pirates to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South View moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Tigers host Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to clash with the Rams in a United Eight 3A/4A game on Friday, March 17. The Rams come into the game with a record of 2-5. Purnell Swett won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Triton (Erwin, NC)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 15. Lumberton will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Wolfpack come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Fairmont (Fairmont, NC).
