Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mart Panthers (Mart, TX), 16-6 in a league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bruceville-Eddy for a 1A Region II District 13 challenge on Monday, April 3.

With the loss, Mart falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Crawford (Crawford, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 1A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 7-1. Crawford won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX)
