North Carolina High School Softball - Roanoke Rapids bounces Northern Nash

The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets routed the visiting Northern Nash Knights softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Yellowjackets (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Gryphons go into the The Big East 2A/3A battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Rocky Mount was routed by Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 16-5, in a league battle.

The Knights now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Nash Central for a The Big East 2A/3A battle on Thursday, March 16. Northern Nash will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
