Texas High School Softball - Rockwall holds off Royse City

The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Rockwall Yellowjackets (Rockwall, TX) and the visiting Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX), saw Rockwall's softball squad nip Royse City by a count of 2-0.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Forney for a 6A Region II District 10 match on Friday, March 17. Rockwall will face a Falcons squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Royse City (Royse City, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 7-9.
The Bulldogs (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Skeeters come into the 6A Region II District 10 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Mesquite edged Horn (Mesquite, TX), 4-0, in a league test.
