Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 30-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tularosa for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. Ruidoso will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Socorro falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM) to battle the Horsemen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Horsemen enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
