The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Westmoreland Eagles to 6 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their match against University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY). The Blazers go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, University Heights edged Logan County (Russellville, KY), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Stallions go into the non-league match with a 3-5 record.
