Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC) and the host Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC), saw Northern Nash's baseball squad edge Roanoke Rapids by a count of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Knights play the Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Northern Nash will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 6-0 league win over Bunn (Bunn, NC).
