In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Wheeling Park Patriots baseball team scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Parkersburg Big Reds.
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans go into the Two Rivers game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Morgantown was overwhelmed by Hurricane (Hurricane, WV), 7-6, in a non-league game.
The Big Reds (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Flying Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Woodrow Wilson was overwhelmed by Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV), 1-0, in a league game.
